Free range Tasty Rare Breed Pork

We rear Traditional British Rare Breeds for pork. Our pigs are loved and cared for from day one. They are given space to play, dig and be naughty (they are very naughty too sometimes).

The pork is succulent, really tasty and mouth watering, with very yummy crackling.

Prices: £100 half, £50 quarter and £200 whole

With half a pig you get

  • 14 chops
  • 2 pork steaks
  • 4 joints (two shoulder two legs)
  • 3 packs of belly pork
  • Approx. 60 sausages

It is usually cut up and packaged for couples – we can do larger joints or other bits if you would like for special occasions.

First ones are ready next Friday. They are best collected on the day that they come back from the butcher, so on the Friday evening or the Saturday. That way they can go into our chiller overnight.

If you do come and collect we have lots of baby pigs that you can visit, as well as see lovely Exmoor and have a cuppa.

We give the pigs attention daily (well Dan does), by playing with them and giving them rub! They have a great life compared with pork you buy in the supermarket and contain no water.

These pigs are reared outside, which allowds them the freedom to enjoy their natural environment and produce meat that is bred for flavour, not for yields. You will find that there is more fat covering than supermarket pork but the flavour contained within this is rendered down into the meat when cooking to give a flavour that is unsurpassed. The taste is how pork should be, sweet with a soft succulent texture.

Its great to support British farming and very healthy for you too.
